I'm finally getting around to posting this short video I made for fun. It was the beginning of a life transition for me. I share it because, as the title says, 'Hazlo Por Tí,' do it for you. Take that bath for you. Wear that outfit for you. Wear that lipstick for you. Write for yourself. Create for you. Do for you. Be for you. Be good to you. It's easier (and even more fulfilling) to be good to others and do for others when we begin with ourselves. At least, that's been my experience. Put on that oxygen mask first, if you know what I mean.

Here are some images of the night. "It was a bit nerve-racking since the poem is so personal to me. It was a thrilling experience to share with my fellow artists and audience. It was such a safe and fun show by Kelsey Redmond. It was quite liberating to learn that my experience is not just mine. A beautiful night."

Honestidad Bajo la Luna, which translates in English as Honesty Below the Moon is based on a poem she wrote a night on her way home when the moon was full and bright. She writes from a real place and allows vulnerability to be both exposed and seen by the public eye. This is her short, created with minimal elements in her living room.
The film, Federal Approved Parent was presented at the Catalina Film Festival. Director Katrina Cebreiro was joined by some of her cast on the red carpet. The film received positive reactions and is now off to New York for the Official Latino Film and Arts Festival.
On June 19th, 2021, Jessica G Ferrer joined writer/director Katrina Cebreiro and co-stars Kelsey Redmond, Adrian Gomez, and Liliana Montenegro on the red carpet premiere of Federal Aproved Parent. It took place at the legendary Chinese Theatre in Hollywood during the first in person Indie Night Film Festival of the year.
The night was filled with tears and laughs as the screen was filled with artists from all genres. The film was very well received and the night was one of many more to come. See some highlights below.
